Angels we have heard on high literally

Ok family, have I got a situation for you! So, last Thursday, I got a call from the Relief Society 1st counselor asking if I could help out in the annual Relief Society Christmas program. Of course I acquiesed. Little did I know what I was getting into. Come to find out, this is a dinner for both the ladies and the guys. Anyways, they are also having a live nativity reenactment, and I get to be the angel. All good and kosher right? Well, first Mary and Joseph knock on the door and go through their spiel, then a couple of shepherds knock on the door and come in and sing a song. Then the 3 wisemen come and do this huge presentation. They are using the men from the stake Christmas play, so it is long and drawn out. Then finally I get to come into the picture. So, now you may ask yourselves where exactly has Marissa been? Oh I have been isolated upstairs in the hallway listening to the entire program all by my lonesome. I get to descend the staircase while singing O Holy Night while wearing a long white dress. Can we say disaster waiting to happen? Not to mention I do not get dinner or talk to anybody until after this presentation. Let's just hope my stomach doesn't growl louder than the music! Oy Vey...

Marissa
